Senior Research Associate / Research Fellow in Statistical Modelling
You will be part of a wide-ranging international multi-centre study of zika virus, and will focus on mother-to-child transmission of zika and other mosquito-borne viruses, and the consequences for the fetus, newborn and child. A second area of work will be on incidence, prevalence, and diagnostics of these viruses.
You will have a further role in providing statistical advice to other members of the consortium. The work requires a statistician with excellent maths and computing skills, with experience of Bayesian data analysis using Markov chain Monte Carlo, and with an interest in medical research.
