Post-Doctoral Position -Translational Medicine in haematology, RNA biology, Genetics and Iron Metab

The Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute (IJC) is a nonprofit research institute based in Barcelona and dedicated to advancing our understanding about leukemia and related disorders, in partnership with the University of Barcelona and Autonomous University of Barcelona. The IJC has laboratories in three clinical campuses: i) Clinic Hospital, ii) Sant Pau Hospital and iii) Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital. The IJC serves as a collaborative hub for basic investigators and physicians to work together on fundamental biological and clinical aspects of hematology. We are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher who is interested in joining a young and dynamic laboratory that applies state-of-the-art technology in Translational Medicine in haematology, RNA biology, Genetics and Iron Metabolism. We are located in the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital Can Ruti Campus, Badalona, Barcelona.
We are supported by national and international grants: CODYSAN2017 Towards the improvement of diagnosis and treatment in Congenital Dyserythropoyetic Anaemias and project SAF2015-70412-R Uncovering new molecular and pathophysiological networks in iron metabolism, (PI: M. Sanchez).

1-year research contract (upon a 6-month probationary period) with possibility of renewal for a permanent position.
