Job Details

The University of Bristol is looking for an experienced electrical services engineer to help the University implement a range of energy efficient lighting projects.

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager (Energy) and working closely with engineers and surveyors within the Capital Maintenance and Infrastructure team, you will manage a £2million energy efficiency lighting fund, identifying projects, designing, overseeing designers, project managing installations and overseeing the commissioning of projects.

You will need excellent communication and diplomacy skills, be a team player that is able to work with staff at all levels within the University, especially with other engineers on technical matters.

You will have a Degree or equivalent of HNC/HND in Electrical Building Services Engineering or similar subject and substantial experience in the engineering field.

This is a two year fixed term post.
