Lacklaborant, Growing R&D Team, Leipzig, €40k-50k

My client are a Paints & Coatings Manufacturer based in the area of Leipzig in the Sachsen-Anhalt region of Germany who are currently growing their Research & Development Team in the fields of formulations development and Colorimetry/Colour Matching. They currently have a new position as Lacklaborant to step into their formulations development team of 6 people who are all have around 10-20 years experience in Paints & Coatings development, meaning they are highly experienced and very knowledgable so you will get the opportunity to develop new skills and expertise in development.

The company you will be working for are a manfacturer of Paints & Coatings systems covering a wide portfolio of systems including Marine (Corrosion-Protection), Automotive, Industrial and Protective markets, so you will get the opportunity to develop a wide variety of paint & coatings systems, allowing you to broaden your knowledge and expertise in waterborne, solventborne, UV and 1k and 2k systems.

They have a laboratory team of 15 people which includes 6 people for development, 2 for quality, 2 for colorimetry and 5 for applications support and technical service, so it's a big group with a lot of different areas of expertise, meaning you will be in contact with a variety of experts in different areas of coatings development on a regular basis. The team are a mix of ages of backgrounds with a few junior team members and a lot of experienced employees, so it's also a diverse environment to work ensuring it is fun day-to-day.

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lacklaborant
• Initial experience in development of waterborne or solventborne coating systems
• B2 level German (minimum) required for daily use in the laboratory. Confidence in English preferred
