Senior R&D Chemist, Flexible Working Hours, Düsseldorf

My client are currently are an Industrial Coatings Manufacturer located in Düsseldorf who are currently going through a phase of growth in their R&D and are looking for a new Research & Development Chemist to join their team. The company are a long-term employer that like to keep their staff happy so they offer flexible working hours which allows people to come in at the time that best suits them, meaning you will be able to shape your working hours around your schedule and manage your work-life time effectively.

The company you will be working for are a well-known manufacturer, developer and distributor of industrial coatings systems for the European Paints & Coatings market. They are in a massive phase of growth at the moment which includes buying an integrating 4 paints & coatings companies in Germany over the last 12 months. They are looking to go global in the next 5-10 years as part of their mid to long term strategy, so they will be opening new teams and departments in the future which will allow you to move into different areas of the business or to progress in seniority.

The company are wholly owned by one family who own 100% of the business, and they still work in the company on a full-time basis, so they are fully-invested in the success of the company meaning they will do their best to help grow and support the company to ensure it carries on for the long-term future. As a medium-sized Paints & Coatings manufacturer they have flat hierarchies, so there is close contact from the most junior staff up to the senior management, so you will have good visibility in the company at all levels, so when you perform well everyone in the company will be able to see and praise your success.

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lacklaborant or Lacktechniker both accepted
• At least 2 years experience in formulations development of industrial coatings
• Good knowledge of developing 2k or solvent-borne coating
• B2 level German required for day-to-day use. Conversational English preferred.
