Job Details
It is essential you have a PhD in acoustical engineering, signal processing, control or a related area. In particular, a background in the fields of active noise control and microphone array signal processing would be ideally suited to the role. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in the design and implementation of complete acoustic signal processing systems from the system hardware through to the signal processing.
Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given. Although the position is initially for a fixed term of 12 months due to funding restrictions, this may be extended based on future funding success.
