Senior role for Occupational Therapist with flexible hours and high salary

Do you already have experience in working as an Occupational Therapist? Are keen on new challenges? Do you want to develop your supervising skills and manage your own team? If yes, then this opportunity is design especially for you!

My client in West Sussex is currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the highly qualified local team on a Senior Practitioner position. You'll be working at the Independent living service with adult customers with learning disabilities who are approaching for social care support in order to remain independent in their daily life. You will be responsible for managing the triage of assessment referrals, allocating work to team members, providing support and supervision to other Occupational Therapists and Assessment Officers and supporting the Team Manager.

This opens to you completely new possibilities to do the next step in your professional career and develop your managerial skills, so your future progress can go even faster. The team itself has already created very supportive and friendly environment to work in, since some senior members have been working there already for couple of years. Thanks to this you will be able to avoid constantly looking over your shoulder for the new offer and actually focus on your development.

On the top of that my client - being aware of the value which experienced Occupational Therapists bring to the team - offers full flexibility in regards of locum or permanent form of employment. You will be able to start working on a contract position to see if it will meet your expectations and then switch to permanent one. Moreover you will also be able to choose if you prefer working part-time or full-time, which will allow you to better manage your time according to your needs and plans. One of the biggest advantage is also a salary which for this position is negotiable, will depend mostly on your experience and is within £36-£37 bracket.
