Help Manage & Develop a Drive a New Team to Success

As a part of a Local Authorities expansion of their Mental Health services they are creating 3 new teams which will focus around AMHP services, Enablement & Assessment & Long Term Review. As such they are looking for experienced Mental Health Team Managers to help develop and manage the teams. This is an exciting opportunity as you will have the opportunity to really out your stamp on the Local Authority and will also be a key player in the future success of your team and service area. The expansion of the service is a result of a redesign to help provide a better and more responsive service to the community.

Working within Mental Health your team will be working with a range of service users above the age of 18 who present with a range of co-morbidity's making cases generally more complex in nature. Due to the complex nature of cases Social Workers feel a greater deal of job satisfaction as they are able to use a greater deal of their experience and have greater potential to learn.

As the Team Manager you will be providing operational and strategic management to your team ensuring that the team is working effectively. You will be able to work autonomously and will be encouraged to use your own experience to help develop the future of the service. One of the key points the hiring manager is looking for in candidates is their ability to empower Social Workers to work independently.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of managing a Mental Health team.
