UQ Human Resources is responsible for enabling achievement of the University's strategic ambitions through attracting, developing and retaining talented, engaged and high performing staff. This, in turn, enables University staff to better support our current and future students. Human Resources provides high quality human resource management guidance and expertise, through effective policy development, constructive advice and efficient administrative services.  We are building a team of strategic HR professionals to provide outstanding, client focused, proactive and effective solutions and services for all UQ staff. Human Resources at UQ operates within a devolved environment with Human Resources staff located in Professional Services teams in Faculties, Research Institutes and Central Divisions, supported by HR specialist service teams.

 

The role

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate the suite of HR projects, as directed by the Program and Change Manager. This further entails maintenance of project systems and databases, ensuring accuracy, consistency and clarity. The HR Program Coordinator will also prepare and maintain schedules and plans for each project in MS Project and Confluence, communicating with key stakeholders throughout, preparing meeting documents and capturing actions and notes in meetings, supporting and participating in engagement and training activities.

 

The person

Applicants should be qualified at an undergraduate level with relevant experience in an IT or business solutions project context. Excellent planning and analysis skills, with experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously is required along with a strong grasp of project management systems, specifically Confluence and Microsoft Projects.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207.07 - $79,964.50 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package will be in the range $81,256.74 - $87,561.13 p.a.).
