Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, professional team working with key stakeholders inside and outside the University to deliver a range of activities designed to inspire students to study an Arts programme at university.

 

The successful applicants will sit within The School of Modern Languages and will work closely with two other Faculty Engagement Officers, academic colleagues across the Faculty and staff within the UK Student Recruitment Team to coordinate and deliver a range of outreach activities closely linked to the disciplines within the SchooL. The role will be managed centrally by the UK Student Recruitment Team.

 

The UK Student Recruitment Team is responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of key recruitment and widening participation outreach initiatives at the University, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Such initiatives include the University Open Days, attendance at school and college events across the country as well as widening participation outreach set out in the University’s Access Agreement.

 

The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to innovate and forge partnerships, be able to deliver outreach sessions to school age students in subjects based within the School and be flexible and hard working.
