Editor - Opportunity to Mentor/Manage - London

My client is a leading Medical Communications agency who is currently looking to expand their editorial team, due to business growth. You will be working with a team of experienced editors who have an excellent division in place, meaning they now have the ability to grow. You will be walking into a well oiled machine, meaning you will have the opportunity to devote some of your time to mentoring more junior members of the team. This will ultimately give you the chance to expand your skillset and open paths for progression. You will be actively involved in the qc for some of the team, and then delivering some training. This will not only boost your profile, but give you some variation within your role.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Editing a range of documents
  • Training more junior team members
  • Data checking
  • Editorial budgeting

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience editing in a Medical arena
  • Strong Scientific understanding
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge of publication practice
