Job Details

My client is looking for a dynamic, organized and talented analyst to be responsible for:

* Ensuring day-to-day contacts with internal and external third party providers (e.g. custodian, asset managers, actuary, auditors, accountant, etc.)
* Ensuring monthly operations such as investments instructions, benefit payments, etc.
* Facilitating the decision-making process of the Board of Directors of the pension fund (organizing meetings, preparing agenda, report, correspondence)
* Executing, following up and monitoring decisions taken by the Board of Directors and the General Assembly in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations
* Providing on request and at own initiative, the collection, analysis, interpretation and availability of relevant data and the compilation of reports (based on a standard format) to the parties concerned (Supervisory Firm, FSMA, NBB, auditor, etc.);
* Investigating new internal / external developments in local pension field. Studying the impact of new laws, techniques, best practices on the existing organization, and suggest changes and evolutions if deemed necessary.

Opportunities will arise to collaborate with other members of the team including those located in various countries to work on ad-hoc projects. Even though this position will start by being mainly operational, you will get the chance to develop over time. The company is also interested in hiring someone who would like to get their CFA, that the company will subsidise. In a nutshell, in addition to joining a valuable name of the Life Science industry, you will also be able to add some niche skills on your CV that will make you more interesting on the job market.

What you need to be considered

* Degree in finance or similar
* First experience in a similar position, preferably with thorough knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations
* Strong interest in investments and financial market
* Fluency in English, French or Dutch is added value
* Eligible to work in the EU

Pre-screening interviews will start this week so give yourself a chance to get a better job and get in touch with me, Melanie Flouhr, by sending your CV on my email m.flouhr@nonstop-recruitment.com and I will get in touch with you to see if the position fits your ambitions.
