MANAGER, OPERATIONS ANALYSIS

DUTIES:
Manage professional employees (including support positions) in the day to day performance of their jobs including the assignment of work and setting of priorities.  Works toward achieving long and short term objectives established by upper levels of management, but has primary responsibility for managing short term business goals.  Manage department with accountability for budget, and policy and procedure development; has financial signature authority.  Responsible for hiring, firing, managing performance and employee development.  Recommend department specific policies and procedures and implement those that have been approved. Budget and fix the operating targets for the businesses.  Monitor the risk process to ensure that exposures are reported and managed appropriately.  Review the stability and sensitivity of the assumptions made in the plan, the potential exposure to the business unit and/or the Company and the adequacy of the mitigation plans aimed at reducing exposure.  Monitor overheads – controlling and optimization. Conduct analytics and report on key business metrics including inventory, productivity, shipment, order accuracy, NPI metrics, and plant operating metrics analysis.  Ensure proper control mechanism is in place to adhere to various management instruction and law requirements.  Conduct inventory analytics working with SIOP and plan operations.  Guide operations/function on various functional/operational issues. Maintain finance, BIW and various statutory requirements training to non-finance group.  Conduct expenses and result analysis monitoring and ensure system discipline.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance and 6 years experience in operational financial, business planning, forecasting and analysis. Experience must include 6 years in: reporting software such as SAP and HFM; financial and operational reporting working in operations/manufacturing or supply chain environment; monitoring expenses and results; conducting analysis and reporting on key business metrics including inventory, productivity, shipment, order accuracy, NPI metrics and plant operating metrics and overseeing budgets and creating budget targets.
 
40 hours/week       $185,328.00/year
