The Graduate School is seeking a dynamic research-active mid-career or senior academic for the role of Associate Professor/Professor in Nursing to contribute to our uniquely-positioned graduate-only school at Victoria University of Wellington. We are located at Wellington Regional Hospital in New Zealand's capital city and are the oldest provider of nursing education in New Zealand and the first postgraduate nursing provider.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide postgraduate research supervision at Masters and PhD level, and provide research leadership within the school. The role will also involve providing strategic leadership and teaching into the Master of Nursing Science and Master of Health (Nursing) programmes.
They will have an established research profile in their specialist field and will have achieved success in research funding /income generation, and have a strong publication record.
This is a permanent position and commences as early as January 2018.
