Approved Mental Health Professional 'AMHP' - OOH & EDT Team - West Wales

NonStop Care is working with a Local Authority that is looking for experienced Social Workers/AMHPs for the Approved Mental Health Professional Service and Out of Hours Emergency Duty Team. They are able to offer a strong team working environment, further training and development as well as hourly rates that go up to £35ph for the right candidate.

You will be part of the team who respond to emergency duty calls for both Adult and Children's Social Services, including responding to requests for Mental Health assessments out of hours. The team also includes a Senior Practitioner and a Service Manager who provides on call support and advice to the team.

Requirements:

• Social Worker and are Approved Mental Health Professionals.
• Experienced in responding to crisis situations and working independently to manage a wide range of situations.
• Able to prioritise effectively and make sound judgements in a variety of challenging situations
• Working with a range of partners including the Crisis Team and Police.
