Seeking a Senior Chemist for the Speciality additives market, our client has a team of established chemists, each with their own expertise. This can offer a great opportunity to develop your skills and learn from them.

As a Senior Chemist, you will be involved in Product Development for speciality additives. This will involve synthesis and application of diol and oxo products as well as speciality polyester synthesis.

Working on multiple projects at any given time, you will be responsible for leading technically focused projects and ensure delivery of projects on time.

For this position, you will need to utilise your experience within polyester resin coatings and organic diol synthesis.

Furthermore, your tasks will be linked to leading and managing the team as well as working with laboratory management when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educated to degree level as a minimum within chemistry

Experience with additives, organic diol synthesis is essential. Experience with diol and oxo products is essential.

If you have experience with polyester resin coatings this will be considered over the above.

Supervisory experience will be a bonus - it is not expected for you to have managed a team prior.

2 years plus experience.
