ENTREPRENEURIAL SENIOR GEOENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER WITH TECHNICAL AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS

We are presently recruiting for an entrepreneurial Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a profitable and well respected firm of civil, structural and geotechnical consulting engineers intending to expand their reach and capabilities.

This is a very rare opportunity as you'll be in charge of building and leading a team of geoenvironmental engineers from the ground up, winning new clients and managing projects from start to finish.

This means that you'll be able to progress quickly with complete support from the company and gain a lot of recognition as a result, contributing to the firm's collection of notable awards and commendations.

The firm has enjoyed steady growth with works being carried out across the UK from 4 regional offices, with turnover at £3.5 million per year and rising, staff increasing by 10% per year and boasting a great retention rate (no one has left it in 4 years).

There are no overarching figures, everyone is seen as equals and self-responsible progression is encouraged, you won't be undermined. Your option will be to join either the south eastern or south western locations (about 45 employees in total).

  • If you have the necessary managerial and business development skills, not just the technical experience, we want to hear from you.
  • This includes desk study, historical data of the site, investigations, supervising testers, processing data, sending data to laboratories, writing reports, reporting to clients, and so on.

Ideally, you also have a deep knowledge of:

  • Phase 1, phase 2, contaminated land, risk assessment, within risk assessment DQRA and have a good understanding of geotechnical site investigation;
  • A few years of experience in contaminated land, seniority and technical skills being critical;
  • MSc preferred.

You can look forward to:

  • Flexible working hours of 40 hours per week;
  • Casual jeans and t-shirt office attire;
  • A great benefits package of £35,000 - £45,000, extra days of holidays, matched pension, healthcare, pay rises over inflation, cycle to work scheme, bonuses and much more (e.g. a car allowance once you become an associate).

If you are an ideal fit for this vacancy, please do not hesitate to apply by emailing your CV to Jan at j.kougl@nonstop-recruitment.com or calling +44 203 519 1775.
