Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition - Hungary - working with monogastric and/or ruminant nutrition
Our client is a leading nutrition organisation involved in a broad spectrum of sectors ranging from animal nutrition to human nutrition. Recently advances have meant the company is now exposed to the agrochemical sector and is looking to expand. The growing baltic and CIS country region is growing with investment from the company plugging into that revenue potential. As a consequence they seek a Sales Manager who has experience within monigastric or ruminant nutrition. The company seek a commercial person who has experience within the agriculture business.
As a Sales Manager you will be involved in developing commercial activities for the hungarian region. including supporting technical development (performance tests, experiments etc)
A crucial part will be to work with the marketing teams, gathering market intelligence as an addition.
Conversant with market size, potential, feeding practices, feed compounding industry and feed formulations
Follow-up and develop existing sales and sales potential in Hungary and also manage, follow-up, and implement existing and new sales projects
The position is not just restricted to the above but you will also explore and implement new applications for existing products - part of this will be to introduce new products at existing customers
There is also a chance to define and develop product marketing and technical aspects in co-operation with the Area Sales Manager, Commercial Director and relevant department.
QUALIIFCATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
University degree in agriculture/animal science or equivalent by one's experience
Strong technical background and experience in monogastric and/or ruminant nutrition would be ideal. Candidates with experience within Animal Nutrition is required.
Minimum 3 years' experience with commercial activities within Animal Nutrition
Fluent in Hungarian and English
