Job Details
This is a unique opportunity for professionals with extensive Project Management experience. Our client is a governmental institution looking to hire a PM who will work on a very unique and specific project that starts next month. The project itself is very diverse in terms of responsibilities. You will be focusing on the financial, technical and people management aspects of it. It's a great opportunity to further enhance your skillset in all these areas while working for one of the most reputable UK institutions. This experience will also most certainly increase your employability in the future.
Your responsibilities within this project include:
- Designing, planning and implementing project activities to achieve desired results
- Defining the project's governance framework
- Identifying required capabilities to successfully execute the project
- Information management
- Resource allocation and management
- Risk mitigation and management
- Stakeholder liaision
- Financial Management
Our client is looking to hire professionals with extensive PM experience, preferrably in the Defence sector. As a successful candidate you possess SC clearance and APMP or Prince2 certification. You are able to work autonomously, allocate resources efficiently, possess leadership qualities and commerical awareness.
The length of the project is 1 year. There is an option for further work with the institution upon successful completion of the current project.
Our client is offering around £400 per day for the role.
