The Library is integral to achieving world-class scholarship at The University of Queensland. The Library’s staff work in partnership with the academic and health community to provide convenient access to quality information, and to manage and provide access to UQ scholarship.  The Library provides information services that are customisable to individual needs and which recognise disciplinary perspectives and their information requirements.  The Library engages with the community to foster scholarship and strengthens the culture of collaboration and partnership within the University.

The role

The major focus of this role is to deliver a broad range of high quality library information services as part of the Research Outputs and Impact Team in the areas of research evaluation and impact and research data management. This role will liaise with staff in designated organisational units to ensure that the Library is responsive to the research needs of the UQ community and effective at delivering relevant support throughout the research lifecycle.

The person

Applicants should have knowledge of current trends in research, publishing, information resources development, and learning and teaching within an academic, special or research library; and well developed interpersonal and team work skills with an ability to work flexibly in a changing environment. Remuneration 

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 5/6. This position is broad-banded across HEW Levels 5 and 6. Applicants will need to assess their qualifications and experience against the relevant HEW Level Selection Criteria and then nominate the HEW Level they are applying for and address the associated criteria. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597.80 - $ 79,964.50 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $70,734.59 - $93,558.47 p.a.).
