Applications are invited for a 2 year Research Associate position in the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, tenable from 1 September 2018 (or a date to be agreed).  This is funded by the EPSRC grant “Between rational and integral points”, which considers connections between analytic number theory and the study of rational and integral points on algebraic varieties.  For more information about Professor Browning’s research please see https://people.maths.bris.ac.uk/~matdb/index.html

 

You should have or expect to hold shortly a PhD in Mathematics or equivalent qualification, with a suitable background in analytic number theory, arithmetic statistics or rational points.
