Job Details
The Clinical and Biomedical Proteomics Group is well established in the area of biomarker and therapeutic target discovery and translation, particularly relating to diseases of the kidney. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a biomarker project in renal transplantation.The project is a collaboration between renal researchers at the University of Leeds and a UK-based diagnostics company, funded by Innovate UK. The project will validate and evaluate novel biomarkers and assays for clinical utility.
You will take on technical supervisory responsibility for planning and organising a programme of work to ensure that experimental goals are delivered according to a timetable agreed by the project partners, and working alongside scientists and clinicians from the University of Leeds, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, and the diagnostics company.
