QGHA aims to bring genomics into everyday healthcare in Queensland and is a collaboration involving Queensland hospital and health services, Queensland-based universities and research organisations, private health providers, and associated health organisations throughout the State.

The Queensland Genomics Health Alliance (QGHA) focuses on a number of Capability Building Workstreams and Clinical Demonstration Projects to support the use of genomics in the healthcare setting in Queensland.

Funded by the Queensland Government, with a charter to be patient-centred and clinically-led, The University of Queensland has been chosen to lead the QGHA, and QGHA is expanding its team to further support the implementation of genomics into everyday healthcare.

The role

Through active engagement with all projects, the Clinical Genomics Advisor will provide strategic recommendations to facilitate necessary project goals and structures, in order to support project implementation into clinical settings. This position will work closely with QGHA Program Manager and the wider Alliance community.
