A London based Local Authority is looking to take on an experienced Personal Adviser to join their Leaving Care service. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with Care Leavers to help them prepare for an independent Life.

This post is within a Local Authority which has made changes to its Social Services over the last 2 years with the aim of providing a more continuous service to its service users. This post will see you work within the Corporate Parenting service which is an amalgamation of Looked After Children and Leaving Care. As such you will be working closely with Social Workers and other health professionals to tackle cases and achieve best outcome for your care leavers. You will have the added support of the team and will have access to a range of experience from the members of the service

The role will focus on working with Care Leavers and help them access Education and Employment whilst developing a range of life skills. This is a diverse role where you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with young people with the view of helping them make positive choices.

To be considered for this post you should have previously worked as a Personal Adviser or Leaving Care Coach.
