The role

The successful applicant will provide research and administrative support for research with the Lives Lived Well Substance Use Research team led by Professor Leanne Hides on the topic of youth substance abuse and wellbeing. The appointee will recruit research participants, administer surveys, and undertake data entry and basic data analysis, as well as assisting with publication preparation and write-up.

 

The person

Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree in psychology or related discipline, preferably with honours, and have experience working with young people, substance use, well-being and eHealth. He or she will be competent in statistical analyses and data management, and have strong communication and organisational skills with a dedication to subject confidentiality and research ethics.

 

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment from 1 February 2018 until 30 June 2019 at HEW level 5.

The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597 - $72,348 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,579 - $84,648 p.a).
