    The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is one of five faculties at the University of Adelaide. Comprised of five schools and a number of disciplines, research centres and institutes, the faculty is focused on education excellence and innovative research in the health sciences.

    The faculty boasts one of the largest concentrations of leading researchers, academic teachers and clinical titleholders working across the areas of health. 

    The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) which sits within the School of Public Health, is a complex, international research and development agency with over 40 staff in its headquarters in Adelaide and more than 1500 researchers located in collaborating centres in UK, Europe, USA, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia.  With almost 80 Centres and groups, servicing over 90 countries, the Joanna Briggs Institute is a recognised global leader in evidence-based healthcare.

    In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Implementation Science Team. Other responsibilities include providing quality support and assistance to Research Fellows, other staff and affiliates while meeting The Joana Briggs Institute requirements.

     

    Salary:

    (HEO4) $59,735 to $65,704 per annum.

     

    Superannuation:

    An employer contribution of 17% may apply.

     

    Term of position:

    This fixed term contract is available immediately until December 2018.

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of administrative structures and processes.
    • Demonstrated experience in word-processing, spreadsheet and data-base software in Microsoft Office including the internet both for accessing and disseminating information.
    • Knowledge of record keeping and archival processes
    • Demonstrated organisational skills for prioritising work and an ability to meet deadlines
    • Demonstrated experience and ability to take meeting minutes (Desirable)
