R&D Specialist - Yorkshire - Hematology

NonStop are looking to speak with Lab Professionals in the York, Leeds and surrounding areas. We currently have two opportunities for you to join an innovative international company and gain the next step in your career by working as an R&D Specialist or Deputy Lab Manager. In the R&D Specialist position you will be responsible for providing supportive information to Scientific Affairs within the evaluation of appropriate testing and methodology, Assist the Research and Development Manager with the documentation of QC ranges and with the documentation of quality assurance and compliance issues in laboratory related global Clinical Trials functional areas, including development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures. Assist in the investigation and corrective action for proficiency testing failures.

In the Deputy Lab Manager position you will be responsible for supporting with the identification of equipment install/validation, holding laboratory meetings and other tasks also.

The key requirements are:

R&D Specialist

* BSc or higher qualification, PhD would be an advantage
* Minimum of 3 years clinical laboratory experience required.
* Able to work within Yorkshire

Deputy Lab Manager

* Several years' experience at bench level within a clinical laboratory; preferably within blood sciences, esoteric and/ or GLP experience
* Experience of working on a number of process improvement projects working to tight deadlines
* Ideally registered with HCPC
* Able to work within Yorkshire
