If you would like to expand your experience developing medical devices, this could be the role for you. This is a great opportunity for a relatively new researcher to join a very exciting environment and gain vital experience in becoming a specialist within the personal care industry. The wide product range will allow you to work on various projects and develop a broad understanding of the industry. This coupled with the training programmes and the mentoring provided by senior scientists will fast-track you to more senior positions, which will lead to better opportunities in the future. Responsibilities:
- Working within the fast-paced Footcare R&D team, you will be responsible for the product development of new and existing products for a very famous brand, ensuring the delivery of consumer preferred products from the ideation stage through to launch into the market.
- The role involves: product development, solving technical challenges and technical leadership to ensure all technical aspects of the projects are completed as required.
- You may be responsible for the line management and development of an R&D Assistant/YII Student.
- Be able to identify and understand consumer/medical needs and build these qualities into product design.
Experience:
- 1-2 years experience of product development within a research and development field
- Must have a degree in a scientific/ Engineering discipline
- Background in FMCG or a Medical device environment is essential
- Line management experience is a strong asset
