Job Details
We are looking to recruit a Director of Operations to lead and direct the business operations and professional services teams across our College of Life Sciences. In this role you will be responsible for the College strategic and operational planning, resource allocation and financial management. Working with colleagues and local NHS partners, you will continue to build on its recent success and seek out new and exciting opportunities for further growth. As a member of the College Leadership Team, the post holder will work in partnership with academic colleagues to develop and implement the strategies of the College.
The successful candidate will have a track record of translating strategy into achievable outcomes in a complex multi-stakeholder organisation, ideally within Higher Education or a similar sector. The role demands exceptional leadership and managerial skills, and the ability to motivate, influence and negotiate across a broad portfolio of responsibilities, with a commitment to continuous improvement and change management. The successful post-holder will have demonstrable experience of managing significant resources and leading large projects through to successful completion.
