Family finding, thinking out the box

I am a specialist recruiter who focuses within adoption and fostering of social care, even more so I focus my search in the East midlands. This has enabled me to have contact across the area with many clients both within local authorities and independent agencies and doing this I have developed lasting relationships with them. Currently I am working very closely with a local authority in this area, who wants to take on Family Finding social workers both part time and full time to join their team on a contract basis. The aim is to think outside the box in ways to place children into safe, stable and nurturing adoptive placements. This will include creatively thinking of ways to test potential placements and compare them to the child's needs and ensure that the child's best interest and health is at the forefront of any assessment.
As you can imagine this is a very beneficial role for both your self and the children, the benefits to you are;

* Helping a child or children's development and enabling them to be homed in a placement where they are safe and able to reach their upmost potential. This in itself could be very fulfilling knowing you have changed a child's life for the better
* The option to be either full or part time, this gives you the freedom to choose what you want and also will enable you to have flexibility in your work life to either have more personal time or take on independent assessments
