ABOUT THE ROLE
The Lecturer will be required to teach in the area of disease processes in cells and tissues within the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, and undertake research and publish in the area of animal cell biology that aligns with the current research strengths of the School.
This will include:
- Contributing to their specific areas of research, scholarship or creative activity.
- Contributing to research projects and collaborations to create new insights and opportunities.
- Teaching in the area of disease processes in cells and tissues and other biology units.
- Making a contribution to the implementation of the University's Strategic Agenda.
ABOUT YOU
- PhD in a relevant field (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to the Faculty's undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs in a manner that influences, motivates, and inspires students to learn.
- Ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of partnerships with professional associations, with domestic educational institutions and the biotechnology industry.
- Interpersonal skills that support the ability to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Applied for and/or attracted research funding or consultancy income in the area of animal cell biology.
