An exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Lacklaborant who has recently finished their studies that wants to enter the field of Coatings Development. My client are a mid-size manufacuter of Industrial Coatings systems based in the are of Hannover (Niedersachsen) that are looking for a new member to join their Research & Development team to help with new product development.

• You will receive full training on their coatings systems, raw materials and formulation methods
• As a part of the R&D team you will get the chance to learn about chemical regulatory (REACh) compliance by workin with Material Safety Data Sheets (M)SDS and ChemRecs software
• As a German company they are headquartered in Hannover but also do 50% of their business in the international market, so you will get the chance to work with international customers on a regular basis
• This is a privately owned family company which offers long-term employment and future career chances to grow into a manager role or to move into Applications Technology, Technical Service and Technical Sales

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lacklaborant with experience in formulation of coating systems
• Knowledge of new product development preferred but not essential
• Willingness to work as part of a team and the desire to grow your technical skills/knowledge
• Business level German required for day-to-day use, English also of benefit
