Support the Senior Safety Manager by ensuring that site operations are executed in compliance with all safety, health, environmental and regulatory requirements:
• Ensure compliance with the site annual EHS training plan
• Administer all aspects of safety programs that empower employee participation in all areas of the LAMP Program
• Drive safety and environmental audit processes
• Prepare, maintain, and submit all required safety and environmental reports
• Serve as liaison for all company vendors associated with safety and environmental programs
• Participate in the incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans
• Support the contractor safety program
• Implement all current site-based EHS aspects of the LAMP program
• Assist in implementing new environmental and worker safety rules and regulations to site management
• Implement new or updated internal safety and environmental policies as needed
• Serve as the point of contact for all vendors in the LAMP Program
• Work with Security to check badge access status
• Interact closely with vendors to determine purpose of visit. Initiate discussion to determine qualifications of work performed and issue associated permits
• Initiate the completion of Job Safety Analysis to mitigate job hazards
• Provide Site EHS Orientation Training when needed
• Issue daily badges to vendors who need access to the site
• Escorting vendors to their work location, if applicable
