Job Details
The purpose of the role is to support the Finance Business Partner and Assistant Finance Business Partner in delivering strategic financial advice and support to Schools and Divisions through the provision of accounting, financial management and financial reporting services.
Information and advice will principally relate to the post award management of research grants and other funding streams.
The Assistant Accountant is required to take a customer focussed approach to the provision of financial information and analysis and acts as first line support for colleagues in Schools and Professional Services Divisions who require assistance in relation to financial matters.
We are looking for applicants with AAT and to be working towards or with a desire to undertake a CCAB accounting qualification. You should have an aptitude for working with finance and non-finance specialists and a customer service focused attitude. You should be a good communicator, able to organise workloads effectively and work well under pressure.
