Job Details
The University of Queensland Health and Rehabilitation Clinics (UQHRC) of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences have a longstanding reputation for providing allied health services in its work-integrated learning environment. The Clinics offers Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Pathology services to adult and paediatric populations. Our clinics incorporate holistic and interprofessional patient-centered care with well established administrative support.
Located on the University of Queensland's St Lucia campus, you will work in a stimulating environment with an international reputation for innovative approaches to teaching, clinical and research excellence.
This role is instrumental in the development of the next generation of Occupational Therapists, and will offer you the opportunity to facilitate student learning and the delivery of therapy services via Telerehabilitation to our clients and their families.
The role
You are responsible for facilitating the translation of theory to practice with groups and individual occupational therapy students in clinical practice. You will facilitate student led clinics, balancing client needs with student learning whilst modelling professionalism and clinical competency. The position will collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to grow and develop our Telerehabilitation Clinic.
The person
Applicants will have at least four (4) years of clinical experience, with relevant experience working in paediatric occupational therapy, particularly school-aged children. Applicants will also have an interest in telerehabilitation and possess registration with AHPRA and the Occupational Therapy Board of Queensland.
The ideal applicant will have the capacity to facilitate the provision of services through this innovative mode of service delivery. A working knowledge of clinical education issues and an enthusiasm for teaching is essential.

Remuneration
This is a part-time (up to 0.8 FTE) role at HEW Level 7, with multiple fractional appointments considered to make up the total. The remuneration package will be in the range $81,883.65 to $89,559.15 (FTE) p.a. pro-rata, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $95,745.37 to $104,784.21 (FTE) p.a. pro-rata).
This is a fixed term appointment commencing 5th February 2018 through to 7th December 2018 (45 weeks).
