The University of Bristol is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for the Student Lifecycle Support Programme (SLSP) to manage the delivery of the programme system solutions.

The aim of the Student Lifecycle Support Programme (SLSP) is to create user-friendly systems and a more integrated administrative framework to support both staff and students.

It consists of a series of projects and initiatives aimed at replacing the fragmented systems and inefficient work processes that students currently encounter and with which staff grapple with, with a more consistent and integrated approach. SLSP also seeks to improve communications between students and the University and across the University itself.

The administrative areas that the programme will address include; recruitment, admissions, enrolment, study, learning, research, assessment, feedback and graduation. SLSP will impact the whole student lifecycle and improve the student experience.

At the heart of the implementation is a Tribal SITs product within a cloud-hosted environment. The programme is also responsible for managing the integration of SITs with current University systems and the delivery of new systems.

You will report to the Head of Projects within IT and work closely with the SLSP Programme manager. Experience of effective project management and product delivery is essential, knowledge and understanding of Higher Education and the implementation of Student Record Systems is also desirable. You will possess excellent organisational skills, strong line management skills and proven change management skills.

For informal enquiries about the role please contact Helen Cole, Director of Strategic Programmes, helen.d.cole@bristol.ac.uk / 0117 394 0363.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture.  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
