The role
At UQ Business School, we’re looking for a passionate, hardworking and efficient marketing and events professional to join our friendly team.
The Marketing & Events Officer works closely with the Events Coordinator and broader Marketing & Communications team to deliver on UQ Business School’s marketing operational plan. This role is responsible for organising and facilitating marketing, recruitment, engagement and academic events to align with the Business School and broader UQ strategy.
The person
The successful applicant will have:
- An undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, event management or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- At least three years’ experience in events coordination and communications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic with high level of enthusiasm to produce events of exceptional quality.
Remuneration
This is a fixed-term appointment at HEW Level 5 through to 31 January 2019. The remuneration package will be in the range of $64,597-72,348 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5%.
