The primary function is to create quality systems that drive improvement of service parts quality throughout our service supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish parts quality reporting systems in a service environment with low volume, high mix part demand.
  • Lead efforts to improve the quality of service parts to deliver measurable improvement to field service effectiveness while reducing cost of parts.
  • Lead, in conjunction with production, procurement and service engineering, projects focused on improving both the quality and availability of service parts.
  • Manage, track and report on the status of ongoing projects.
Skills and Specifications
  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience with the development of quality systems for tracking and reporting on parts quality
  • Experience designing and implementing measurement systems for tracking both discrete and continuous product specifications in high tech service parts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership and influencing capability
  • Strong process development and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience with a structured problem solving methodology
  • Experience working in an ISO 9000 certified quality system
