Help Develop a New Commissioning Team
A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to help develop a new commissioning team which the Local Authority has tasked with implementing a new way of working. You will be Line Managing 4 experienced staff and will be covering the SEND, Children with Disabilities, Early Intervention and Children in Care Services.
The Local Authority is going through a period of change and has been making excellent strides making improvements throughout Children's services. So far the amount of agency staff has been reduced from 60% to below 35% and average caseloads have also reduced to below 20.
As this is a new team you will really have an opportunity to put your stamp on the Local Authority and will have autonomy to direct the team as is necessary to ensure that the service performs effectively. However, you will be supported by the Senior Leadership team who are always on hand to provide support and advice when necessary.
To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience within commissioning and should have managed a team.
