Opportunity:

Joining the R&D team as Anwendungstechniker you will be at the centre of all development projects running in the business because you will collaborate with customers, R&D Chemists, marketing and sales departments to help push projects to successful completion. Day-to-day your challenge will be to conduct testing of different coatings systems on a variety of materials, look for and act upon potential improvements and to help manage the development and applications of coatings from idea to product launch, allowing you to see the whole cycle from start to finish.

• If you can prove that you are a highly driven, success-oriented professional then you will also have to the chance to join the "High-Potential Programme" running at the company aimed at giving you a fast-track route to progression within the company
• The company will provide hands-on training courses designed to develop your technical skills and knowledge so that you can deepend your expertise within Applications Engineering
• As part of a department of 15 people with 6 R&D experts you will be working in a multi-functional environment where you can learn about more commercial business aspects

Requirements:

• Qualified with an Ausbildung as Lacklaborant or Weiterbildung as Lacktechniker
• Previous experience within applications testing & development of industrial coatings systems (waterborne or solventborne)
• Come with a highly creative problem-solving mindset and a drive to succeed in your work
• Languages: German at a fluent level required for day-to-day work. Confidence in English preferred but not essential
