School of Psychology
The School of Psychology is one of the most prestigious schools of psychology in Australia, and its strong reputation is built on excellence in both research and teaching. The School has thriving and dynamic research profiles in almost all areas of psychology, and is able to attract visitors from overseas and other institutions in Australia. It possesses good links, often through cross-appointed staff, with other schools in the University, thus creating opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborative research.
Details of the research interests of academic staff may be accessed on the School’s web site at www.psy.uq.edu.au.
The role
The successful applicant will be expected to coordinate and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the area of organisational psychology; to supervise students undertaking research and professional training, and to develop an independent program of externally funded research. Administrative service within the School is also required.
The person
Applicants should possess a PhD in organisational psychology or related area, have a competitive research track record, experience and ability in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programs in organisational psychology, and capacity to supervise honours and postgraduate students. The appointee will ideally be a registered psychologist with eligibility for endorsement in organisational psychology.
To be appointed at level C, the successful candidate will have an established record of publications in high quality outlets, be expected to achieve national recognition in this area, and undertake a chief investigator role in applications for external research funds.
Remuneration

The remuneration package will be in the range of:
