The main responsibility of the role holder is to maintain, process, and report academic information and statistics via the university systems to support specialized business accreditation projects including accreditations at both school-level and programmes-level. The role holder is expected to liaise with staff and faculty from both IBSS and across the University as well as external accreditation organizations and the University of Liverpool, and to project a highly professional and responsive image for the School. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a positive attitude, a high level of reliability and professionalism, strong data processing, project management and organisational skills, and the willingness to work flexibly and across several functional areas.

 

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Dean and IBSS senior management team to prepare timely annual surveys and reports for accreditation committees;
  • To manage and track faculty accreditation classifications;
  • To monitor and facilitate accreditation action plans;
  • To liaise with the Liverpool Management School for data exchange;
  • To act as the School Operational Contact to handle accreditation related school billing and administrative affairs on behalf of the official representative;
  • To organize accreditation related meetings, travel logistics and reimbursement;
  • To coordinate and update academic-related statistics and information in the Sedona system to support school accreditation projects;
  • To provide back up to other functions within the School Office Team when required.

 

Requirements

  • Experience of working in international environment, ideally in the higher education sector
  • First degree in business and management subject area
  • Awareness of cultural diversity within an international environment, ideally in the higher education sector
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Detail oriented personality, comfortable with time consuming and occasionally repetitive work
  • Ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time, and to prioritise tasks/activities effectively, along with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of people, to work as part of a team, and to liaise with colleagues where work interests overlap
  • Attention to detail in working on reports and correspondence
  • Ability to deal with confidential matters and act with discretion
