This is a Recruitment Pool for Sessional appointments for 5 years.

We currently have one sessional appointment available at 6 sessions per fortnight.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Consultant – Surgeon – Plastic Surgery to lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist plastic surgical services to patients and promote the patient safety and quality of care.

The occupant of this position will provide leadership, orientation, training and supervision and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioner and other health workers. The successful applicant will work to achieve national, state and East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) performance standards and targets in collaboration with the Medical/Service Co-Director/Head of Department/Head of Speciality and other consultants while working within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
