Qualified Social Worker - Lower Caseload - Family Support Team
NonStop's client, based in the South East of England, is looking for Fully Qualified Social Workers to join their Family Support and Protection Team.
This in an opportunity to create more positive outcomes for the children and families within the area, in a challeging and supportive environment where you will play a key role in child protection, children in need cases and safety planning for children.
Our Client is looking for a qualified social worker who will be able to assess, monitor and review social care needs of individuals, relatives and carers and to arrange the provision of appropriate care services. You must have the knowledge, experience and specialist communication skills to gather information and make a full assessment of the risks, protection and social care needs of individuals, carers and families. Must be capable of devising individual care plans based on needs and risks and take appropriate action, in conjunction with other agencies, to protect vulnerable people.
Role Overview:
- Locum £35/hr
- Family Support & Protection Team
- Low Caseload
- Laptop and phone provided to all social workers
- Initial assessments, care proceeding and then passing the case onto the LAC Team
- 'Direct Working with Children' toolkit'; toys, books, pads etc. which will explain court proceedings to children
- Management team invest in Locum workers with support and training
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant Degree
- Post qualification in the UK experience
- HCPC registration
- Full Clean driving license
Those with extensive experience may also be considered for a more senior role, meaning instant progression and a higher income.
