Nonstop' s client, a Local Authority based in a beautiful area in the South East of England, is looking for a Qualified Social Worker for its Child Protection Team (CP).They are paying very well - for an experienced candidate, they can go as high as £40 per hour.
About the Local Authority
The Local Authority is located in the South East of England. Their last two Ofsted reports showed a lot of improvement; however the most recent one was impressive. Their management got highlighted several times, due to the impact the managers have on the development of the Social Workers and on making sure the cases are dealt with appropriately.
They also have a new method of quality assurance and engaging with cases, which takes place on active cases with the social worker, their manager and a full-time auditor. This process helps the Social Workers to improve their practice with an additional set of eyes on their case.
The team
You will be joining the Child Protection Team (CP). They cover CIN and CP cases, but not too much court work, as they have a separate team that covers that. The team is full, and all the Social Workers are very experienced.
The ideal candidate
You will be a Social Worker with experience in Children in Need / Child Protection. You also need a driving license.
