Job Details

My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a proven Account Manager, committed to driving business performance across a range of multinational accounts and major accounts in a lot of different applications. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager your primary markets will be in Polyurethanes, Adhesives, Coatings, Elastomers whilst also leading key projects and all commercial activities within a global account portfolio.

Tasks:

  • Develop account plans in line with business strategy whilst providing accurate sales forecasts
  • Manage all agent and distributor agreements and performance within your region.
  • Act as a key member of the Sales and Marketing Unit to ensure materials and strategy are aligned with business expectations.
  • Coordinate regional account activities e. g. pricing, growth plans, projects etc. with colleagues as part of a global organization.
  • Drive the development of new business and opportunities in line with calculated growth plans within the ACE business.
  • Coordinate all R&D activities between our Polyurethanes division and Global/European key accounts across multiple regions.
  • Act as the sales lead to drive and deliver assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a technical discipline with previous experience in a Sales Account Management role within the chemical sector.
  • Highly level of energy and passion with strong entrepreneurial skills and the ability to manage change effectively within a global business
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate company vision into an executable sales strategy within your region.
  • Good knowledge of value pricing and value selling skills to grow a differentiated business portfolio
  • Previous knowledge of the Polyurethane (or similar) industry and/or product ranges is essential
  • Business fluent in English plus at least one other language (German, Dutch or French)
