Job Details
Candidates are sought with expertise and research interests in one or more of the following three areas:
- Security of cyber-physical systems
- Human factors in cyber security
- Software security
Inter-disciplinary expertise in these areas or across these areas is also strongly encouraged. The appointments are part of a major investment in cyber security to complement our existing strengths in the above areas. The University of Bristol is a UK Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research. We also lead projects as part of three UK-wide Research Institutes in Cyber Security and a major international effort on dev eloping a Cyber Security Body of Knowledge (CyBOK) to underpin curricula at various education levels. The successful candidates will be expected to play a major role in strengthening and growing cyber security research and teaching at Bristol.
You will have an outstanding research track record, undertaking innovative work that complements our existing research and teaching activities. You will be attracting international recognition and will have published a significant number of high quality papers. You will have proven ability to attract research funding from funding agencies and/or industry. You will have experience of taking an active role in delivering and innovating high quality teaching in cyber security at undergraduate and masters-level.
Each post is being offered on a full-time, open-ended contract.
