Research Associate in Mathematics
You should have a PhD in Mathematics or equivalent, with a suitable background in geometric/arithmetic/additive combinatorics, harmonic analysis or theoretical computer science. Applicants with expertise and willingness to explore the advanced algebraic geometry side of the problem are especially welcome.
The School of Mathematics is one of the leading centres for research and teaching in mathematical sciences in the UK, and offers a stimulating environment with first-rate facilities. The contract will be offered on an open-ended basis, with funding currently secured for three years.
