Job Details
SPCCT research operator position requires an individual who is professional, self-learner, with can-do approach, team player and with good communication skills. In this role, you will be part of an international research team that is developing a new spectral photon counting CT system (SPCCT).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily operation of the SPCCT system:
- Coordinate the scanner’s daily usage and execute research experiments performed on the system.
- Assist or execute scanning of animals and also humans when part of clinical research projects
- Conduct daily calibrations and quality assurance for scanner performance; identify and escalate system problems to appropriate staff
- Managing all images transferred/stored in PACS or other archival systems
Requirements:
- Experience as a CT technologist.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux based systems.
- Very good French and English communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience:
- Prior experience operating medical devices such as CT in a research environment
