Veterinary Surgeon Technical Manager - Equine!

Role:

In close collaboration with the Export team you will:

• Provide the european commercial team with expert veterinary technical support and training for both product ranges (pharma and nutra)
• Provide our clients (vets and non-vets) with expert veterinary technical support via:
  • Direct communication (phone, e-mail)
  • Newsletters/ Web articles
  • Practice training sessions
  • Provide end-user talks during veterinary practice client evening
  • Provide the community management with content for Linkedin, Facebook and webpages
  • Attend multiple congresses and be the company's scientific reference at these meetings

Be in contact with Key opinion leaders that you already know and aim at growing this network further with a view to ensure the continued development of our range across Europe

In close collaboration with the Innovation team and the French team you will:

• Provide pertinent referenced scientific information for product development
• Provide pertinent referenced scientific information for potential acquisitions
• Help create technico-marketing tools in line with objectives
• Lead potential research projects

In close collaboration with the commercial director you will:

• Be responsible for the management of the UK veterinary advisor
• Be responsible for the management of potential new country-specific veterinary advisors in the future

You will be required to attend our european seminars and your veterinary experience may be called upon for the development of various projects. Additional roles may develop as changes occur in the business unit.

It is expected that this position will include 50% travel,

You have excellent interpersonal relationship skills alongside with the will to tackle an international challenge. We are looking for a candidate that has:

Profile description

A minimum of 3 years industry experience is required. Qualified veterinary surgeon with 2-3 years equine or mixed (equine/small animal) would be an asset. An interest in nutrition is essential.

Key skills:

• Bilingual in French/English.
• Fluent in German would be a plus
• Sound base of technical veterinary knowledge and of the equine veterinary market.
• At least two years' experience in a veterinary practice
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Comfort working independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Autonomous and collaborative
